"Success is Collective" By Aditya Singh

Whenever we start something new and it works out, a thought often rises in our minds: “This happened because of my hard work and effort.” In early adulthood, this feeling is natural. We are still learning about life, and it’s easy to believe that our success belongs only to us. But when this belief turns into a habit, it silently harms our growth.

The truth is, no achievement is ever truly ours alone. There are always invisible hands people, circumstances, opportunities, and even unseen forces that make our journey possible. Without them, nothing would unfold the way it does. Even when it appears that you’ve succeeded “all by yourself,” there is still invisible support: family, mentors, friends, society, or simply the grace of life and the Divine.

When you start believing that everything is because of you alone, you move towards pride, and pride isolates you. Life has a way of humbling those who forget its interconnectedness. Success, in reality, is collective even when it doesn’t seem so. There are thousands of unseen possibilities that could have gone against you but didn’t. The right people showed up, the right doors opened, and things aligned. That is never just coincidence.

So, when you succeed, remember this: what you wanted has been granted, not only achieved. Always stay humble. Acknowledge the invisible contributions of those who helped you, supported you, inspired you, or prayed for you without you knowing. And if you forget to be humble, life itself will teach you humility sooner or later.

True greatness comes not from saying “I did it all by myself,” but from saying “I am grateful for all the seen and unseen support that made this possible.”
